Short journeys in India can be deep, long journeys that awaken the mind. That's why we call them Journyes that Transform

Between the four cardinal directions - North, South, East, West - lie the four intermediate directions: North-East, North-West, South-East and South-West.

Then there are the directions Above and Below. That adds up to ten directions.

The Eleventh Direction is Inward, the journey into one's self. Below, the directions are represented by the leaves of the Peepal or Bodhi tree, Ficus religiosa, the tree of enlightenment.
